Weekly Update #12

Hello everyone!

We would like to thank our wonderful donors and partners for their consistent support. It’s hard to believe that almost 3 months ago, united3D was created with the hope to provide PPE to a local hospital. Since then, we have reached over 40 hospitals and 20 care centers across 9 states, delivered over 1240 units of PPE, and raised over $18400. It’s mind-blowing how dedicated and united a community of volunteers can be during these tough times. We really appreciate the work our volunteers do to accomplish milestones like these.

This week, we have continued to work on fulfilling our orders. We are working on increasing the Sewing Project orders, and working with larger manufacturers to increase production rates. We are looking to expand our reach into upstate New York and further down Virginia and North Carolina in hopes to provide PPE to even more hospitals. The best way to help right now is by spreading the word to help increase the number of orders we receive and to recruit more volunteers with 3D printers.

As with all community based operations, our organization relies on the generosity of our donors. We could not be here today if it wasn’t for the individuals who have provided us with funding to continue supporting our communities. We are also working on creating PPE for schools in order to ensure the safety of students as the school year comes closer. Let us know if you have any contacts at local hospitals and we will gladly connect with them to figure out their needs. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us and we’d be happy to help. Until the next update, stay safe and healthy!
