We would like to thank our wonderful donors for providing us with funding to help our communities. Even if you aren’t producing PPE, you are helping us reach our goal by donating or simply spreading the word. We have had an incredible week, not only in donations, but in outreach! We have officially reached 8 regions among 6 states, and have raised over $1000. This progress will allow us to reach more hospitals and provide a more prominent impact than ever before.
This week, we have continued to fulfill orders. We have reached over 350 units delivered! We now have over 16 volunteers working to help bring PPE to local health care workers. Through the help of our partners, we have also received donated filament to help our volunteers. We are also communicating with local senior homes that may require PPE, and providing first responders too. Our mission is spreading quickly, and with the support of the community, we will be able to provide those who need PPE the most. We are also looking for more volunteers who have and/ or willing to buy 3D printers. Parents are encouraged to show their children 3D designing, and 3D printing no matter the age. We understand that this is an expensive purchase and it is not required, however buying a 3D printer has many uses beyond just printing PPE. The future holds many more uses for 3D printers like printing with different materials like chocolate, concrete, and even stem cells.
As with all community based operations, our organization relies on the generosity of our donors. We could not be here today if it wasn’t for the individuals who have provided us with funding to continue supporting our medical staff. Our donors are absolutely incredible, and we truly appreciate their efforts towards helping those who may not have the opportunity to stay quarantined. We are doing our best to communicate with local hospitals and first responders, and begin providing to many regions to further our cause. Let us know if you have any contacts at local hospitals and we will gladly connect with them to figure out their needs. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us and we’d be happy to help. Until the next update, stay safe and healthy!
